Yes like kevin said, only thing topaz does is ruin your work / flatten it and goodbye depth.
Just use sharpen 1 or 2x and then blur some parts you think are oversharpened.
Also blend the layers better.
Here's a tip:
Every time you add 1 c4d, before doing that, use Hue/Saturation, and try to find the right color that fits with the render, then ctrl+e and put the c4d on your work, it will look much better.
Keep it going :d
