smudge is a bit off. my opinion cud put some detailed on the bg it wud do with abstract shapes. as you see it's a bit flat though you got nice colors going on there. kiu

Like kevin said, background is too dead.
i do love that sparkle you added there tho.
You can find some glow lines from google or something else, add then on linear dodge or what you preffer and it should look better.
Also do what kevin told you, with the background, it'll work.
Colors are fine, love them the composition itself is abit too focused on that zone and it doesent expand.
